The Beyond the Page Campaign began in 2012 with a $350,000 challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The libraries, supported by the Madison Community Foundation went on to raise the required match. The endowment currently yields approximately $65,000 annually and funds a variety of programs. All library programs are free and open to the public, although some may require pre-registration.
We have reached our goal and received our match from the National Endowment for the Humanities! In order to ensure the continuation of humanities programming in libraries, we gratefully accept donations. There are a variety of giving options:
